These are our good friends Wayne, Tara, and Gabrielle "Gabby". The Leblanc family are such great people. They own a Bed & Breakfast in Lewisburg, WV called "The Great Oak" http://www.greatoakbnb.com/ They live in a really cool part of WV that has lots of spectacular parks and beautiful scenary. Tara is originally from WV and that provides me no shortage of opportunities to make jokes about her. You know, "Do the farm animals get invited to family reunions in WV?", and stuff like that. Yeah, I'm real endearing to my friends. She takes it stride and fires them right back at me. Being that Wayne and I are both from NC, though Wayne's family are northern transplants ;), I guess she has ample material for sniping at me too. At one time we all lived close to each other in Wilmington, NC, but alas, our paths have all taken us to different places far from each other.

We tend to only have a few, but really close friends. I'm not exactly sure why it works out this way, but it happens. Kind of blows when all your few close friends end up living far away. With the duties of our daily lives and parenthood, it doesn't leave us much time to make even more close friends. :(
